First Symptoms Of Pregnancy - Fatigue

Fatigue is definitely a first indicator of pregnancy. This is attributed to the high levels of the hormone progesterone being released. In high enough doses progesterone can either make you very tired or put you to sleep. Another attributing factor to your fatigue may be lower blood sugar levels, lower blood pressure and increased blood production. With any of these factors present your energy will be sapped before you know it.

There are things that you can do to improve your fatigue during your pregnancy. In order to control your fatigue you will need to control your exercise and diet. With an improved diet and exercise program you will find yourself gaining more up time during your first trimester.

9 months later I had lost all my weight and I'm now in better shape than I was before I was pregnant!

Learn the secrets to exercising and eating for pregnancy

Lets start by eating right. First off I want to say stay away from the caffeine. Caffeine burns off quickly and leaves the body in a deprived state that tends to increase fatigue. Now, spread your meals out. Try to eat 5 to 6 small healthy meals a day. Not 3 large meals that tend to weight you down. These healthy meals will help to keep your body fueled throughout the day. In between the small meals munch on easy to eat fruits and vegetables. This will keep your body working and allow for a cool down period.

Now that you have your diet under control lets work on exercising. You need to exercise even if you don't want to. Exercising helps to increase you metabolic rate and helps to burn off those great fruits and vegetables that you have been eating. Thus, keeping the body energized. Try to keep a minimum of thirty min workout 3 to 4 times a week, if you can do more even better.

Now don't get me wrong. Sleeping is not wrong during your pregnancy and if you feel tired take catnaps during the day. But don't sleep your whole day away. Quick catnaps 3 to 4 times a day will keep you and the developing baby relaxed. Once you have followed all of these steps make sure to go to bed early at night. Early sleeper get more rest and definitely helps the baby during this crucial time.
